Rewards Program Terms

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms

These Rewards Program Terms govern Gradient Rewards (the "Program"), including how points are earned, how status tiers are determined, and how points are redeemed. They are in addition to our Terms of Service, which continue to apply in full. Where the two conflict on a Program matter, these terms control. Terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.

By earning or redeeming points you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not participate in the Program.

Eligibility

The Program is open to registered Gradient account holders in good standing. One person may hold one account, and one account may hold one points balance. Creating or using multiple accounts to earn, pool, or redeem points is prohibited and may result in forfeiture under "Abuse, Fraud, and Chargebacks" below.

The Program is void where prohibited or restricted by law. We may decline to offer the Program, or any part of it, in any jurisdiction.

Points Have No Cash Value

Points are a promotional benefit. They are not money, not currency, not credit, and not your property. Points have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash, cannot be converted into wallet balance or store credit, and cannot be used to pay for anything other than the rewards we make available in the Program catalog.

Points cannot be sold, transferred, gifted, assigned, willed, or combined across accounts, and they do not pass by operation of law. Any attempt to do so is void and may result in forfeiture of the points involved.

We do not publish an exchange rate between points and dollars, and no such rate should be inferred from any reward's points price or from the shelf price of the same item. Points prices for rewards are set independently and may differ from, and change independently of, the dollar price of the same or a similar product.

Earning Points

This section describes how the Program currently works. It is a description, not a guarantee: the rates, bases, and rules below may change at any time under "Changes to the Program", and we determine what qualifies as an eligible purchase.

Points are earned on eligible purchases. Points currently accrue on the pre-tax amount of an order: sales tax earns no points and counts toward no status tier. Shipping charges, where included in the order total, may earn points. We may exclude any product, category, payment method, order, or account from earning at our discretion.

Your earn rate is the Program's base rate multiplied by any bonus attached to the status tier you held before the order was placed. An order that promotes you to a new tier earns at your previous rate; the new rate applies to later purchases. Points post when the order is paid, not when it is placed, shipped, or opened.

Points are earned on purchases only. Activity that earns no points includes, without limitation, opening a pack, ripping, selling a card back, transferring an item, redeeming points, and any other activity on the platform, unless we say otherwise in writing. Orders fulfilled by a points redemption are zero-dollar orders and earn no points. Points are normally posted once an order is paid, though posting may be delayed, batched, or held pending review.

We may run limited-time bonuses, promotions, or campaigns with their own rules, rates, and end dates. Those rules apply in addition to these terms for the activity they cover.

Status Tiers and the Program Year

Status is earned on qualifying spend within a program year. A program year is currently the calendar year, measured in UTC, and qualifying spend resets to zero at the start of each one. The rules in this section describe how the Program currently works and may be changed at any time.

Status you earn in one program year is yours for the rest of that year and for all of the next one. Through that next year — the carry year — your status is whichever is higher: the tier your new spend has earned so far, or the tier you carried in. New spend in a carry year can therefore only raise your status, never lower it — though a refund of earlier spend still can, as described below.

Spend that re-qualifies you during a carry year starts the cycle again, so the status it earns runs through the year after that. If a carry year ends without spend that re-qualifies you, the carried status lapses on 1 January and you return to the base tier until your spend earns status again.

By way of illustration only, under the current rules: spend that reaches Gold in 2026 holds Gold for the rest of 2026 and all of 2027; reaching Platinum during 2027 replaces it straight away and holds Platinum through 2028; and a 2027 with no qualifying spend ends Gold on 1 January 2028. This example describes the present rules and creates no entitlement to them.

Status is not a permanent grant. It is calculated from your qualifying spend as that spend stands at the moment it is evaluated, so it can change if the spend behind it changes — see "Refunds, Cancellations, and Reversals" below.

Tier names, spend thresholds, earn multipliers, and which tiers are active are set by us and may be added to, changed, or withdrawn at any time. Your tier is calculated from your spend against the ladder in force when it is displayed, so a change to the ladder can change your tier without any activity on your account. We may also suspend the Program's earning and status accrual entirely, in which case existing balances remain redeemable unless we say otherwise.

Refunds, Cancellations, and Reversals

If an order is refunded or cancelled, the points it earned are taken back and its spend stops counting toward status. This applies whether the refund is full or partial, whether you requested it or we issued it, and however long after the purchase it occurs.

Because status follows spend, a refund can reduce your qualifying spend below a threshold you had reached, and you will hold the tier your remaining spend earns. This includes losing status you currently hold and losing status carried into the following year.

If you have already spent the points an order earned, taking them back can leave your balance negative. A negative balance is not a debt payable in money — it nets against points you earn later, and you cannot redeem again until it clears. You keep any reward already fulfilled to you.

We may add, remove, reverse, or otherwise adjust points, qualifying spend, and status on any account at our discretion, and we may do so at any time and without prior notice. That includes, without limitation, correcting points credited in error — whether the error was caused by a pricing mistake, a system fault, a duplicated transaction, a display defect, or any other cause — even if those points have already been redeemed. Where the points cannot be recovered because they were spent, we may reverse the balance as described above or, at our discretion, recover the value of what was fulfilled.

Our determination of points earned, qualifying spend, status held, reward eligibility, and Program eligibility is final, absent manifest error.

Redeeming Points

Rewards are offered from a catalog that we may change at any time. We decide which items appear in it, how many are shown, in what order, and whether any item is redeemable at all; the catalog is not a complete list of our products, and no product is guaranteed to be redeemable with points. Availability is limited by stock on hand, and an item can leave the catalog, change its points price, or sell out at any moment — including between the time a page is loaded and the time you click.

The points price charged for a reward is the one held by our systems at the moment the redemption is processed, not the price displayed on your screen. A page left open at an old price cannot redeem at that price.

You must have a sufficient points balance at the moment of redemption. If a reward is claimed by another member before your redemption completes, your redemption fails and your points are not deducted. If a redemption fails after your points are deducted, the deduction is reversed.

Redemptions are final. Once a redemption completes, the points are spent and cannot be returned, restored, exchanged, or converted back — there is no way to undo a redemption. Redeemed rewards are not refundable, returnable, or exchangeable, and cannot be cancelled after the fact. Confirm the reward and its price before you confirm the redemption.

Rewards are fulfilled as zero-dollar orders on your account and are subject to the same terms as purchased products, including the "Randomized Products" section of the Terms of Service. A reward pack's contents are randomized and carry no guaranteed value, no guaranteed card, and no guaranteed resale price. You accept the outcome of a redeemed pack exactly as you accept the outcome of a purchased one.

Your Balance and Our Records

Our transaction ledger is the authoritative record of your points balance, your qualifying spend, and your status. Figures shown in the app, in email, or in any other interface are a display of that record and may be delayed, cached, or wrong. Where a displayed figure disagrees with our ledger, the ledger governs, and a displayed figure creates no entitlement to points it shows in error.

If you believe your balance or status is wrong, contact us within 60 days of the activity in question so we can investigate while the underlying records are available.

Expiration and Inactivity

Points do not currently expire through inactivity. We reserve the right to introduce an expiration or inactivity policy in future, and will give reasonable advance notice before any such policy takes effect.

Points are forfeited immediately, without compensation, when your account is closed — whether you close it or we do — and when your participation in the Program is terminated under these terms. Points are not recoverable after account closure, including if the account is later reopened.

Abuse, Fraud, and Chargebacks

The following are prohibited: earning or redeeming points through fraudulent, cancelled, or unauthorized transactions; opening or using multiple accounts to accumulate, pool, or redeem points; exploiting a defect, pricing error, or system fault to obtain points or rewards; automating redemptions or otherwise interfering with fair access to limited stock; misrepresenting your identity or eligibility; and any conduct prohibited by the Terms of Service that touches the Program.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute on an order reverses the points and spend it earned on the same basis as a refund, and may result in suspension of your Program participation pending resolution.

Where we reasonably believe the Program is being abused, we may — with or without prior notice — reverse points and status, cancel pending redemptions, withhold or reclaim rewards, suspend or terminate Program participation, and close the account, in addition to any other remedy available to us.

Taxes

You are responsible for any tax liability arising from your participation in the Program, including on the value of any reward received. We do not provide tax advice; consult your own adviser about your circumstances.

Changes to the Program

We may change the Program at any time — including the base earn rate, tier thresholds and multipliers, the reward catalog and its points prices, the rules for earning and redeeming, and these terms. Changes take effect when posted unless we state otherwise, and they may apply to points already earned as well as to points earned afterwards.

We may suspend or end the Program at any time. If we end it, we will give reasonable advance notice and a period during which points remain redeemable against the catalog then available; unredeemed points are forfeited without compensation at the end of that period. Points are not redeemable for cash at any point, including on termination of the Program.

We may take any other step we consider reasonably necessary to operate, administer, or protect the Program, including limiting participation, capping earning or redemption, imposing eligibility conditions, and varying how any part of the Program works for some or all members. Nothing in these terms obliges us to offer the Program, any tier, any earn rate, or any reward, and no past practice creates an entitlement to its continuation.

No Warranty and Limitation of Liability

The Program is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any particular reward will be available, or that any reward will hold any particular value.

The limitation of liability in our Terms of Service applies to the Program. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for points or status that are lost, reversed, delayed, or unavailable, for rewards that sell out or leave the catalog, or for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the Program. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Disputes and Governing Law

If something looks wrong, contact us first — most Program questions are resolved fastest that way, and a redemption that cannot be undone in the app may still have a remedy in a support conversation. The dispute resolution and governing law provisions of our Terms of Service apply to the Program.
